File quality is hugely important and part of the reason this site came to life was to provide a higher quality option than what is currently available. Each clip purchase has two download options with it. One colour graded example and one ‘RAW’ example. The raw example varies in format from .braw, ProRes, R3D to .mxf (DNxHR).

No, all the shots and footage available on Scotland Stock has been shot for real with attention to detail and care. While AI has some great use cases, we don’t believe footage generation is one of them.

Our library is new and developing, so it’s only natural you may not find what you are after. There are a few options provided to (hopefully) help with that. No. All of our clips are Rights Managed which means they are licensed per project. You can choose all of the applicable criteria for your film during the checkout process and license exactly what you need.

In order to simplify things and cover a broad range of use cases there are two types of licences provided by Scotland Stock. A Standard Licence, which covers most small and medium business needs from social media to website and internal usage. And a Production Licence which also covers the Standard Licence but in addition covers broadcast, streaming and larger business use cases and paid campaigns.

Yes. If no download is made then refunds are available within 14 days of the original purchase. If a purchase download is made our stock then becomes non-refundable.
