This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are used on the Scotland Stock website and how they are managed.
1. What are cookies?

They can be used for purposes such as remembering preferences, maintaining website functionality, improving security and understanding how a website is used.
2. Cookies used by Scotland Stock
Scotland Stock uses cookies that are necessary for the operation, security and functionality of the website.
The specific cookies used may depend on the website platform, plugins and services in use. Browsing and adding clips to a basket does not currently require cookies: the basket is stored in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie.
The current cookie inventory is:

Ordinary visitors browsing the library will typically not receive the WordPress cookies listed above. Those cookies are used when someone signs in to Studio or WordPress admin.
3. Analytics and marketing cookies
Scotland Stock does not use advertising or marketing cookies.
Scotland Stock does not currently use cookies for targeted advertising, behavioural advertising or marketing profiling.
If non-essential analytics or other tracking technologies are introduced in the future, this Cookie Policy will be updated and, where required, appropriate consent will be obtained before they are used.
4. Third-party services
Some third-party services used by Scotland Stock may use cookies or similar technologies as part of providing their services.
These currently include Stripe (payments), Bunny.net (preview video delivery) and Backblaze (licensed file downloads). Cookies from those services, if any, are set according to that provider’s own policies when you use the relevant part of the site.
5. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
If Scotland Stock uses non-essential cookies that require consent, you will be provided with an appropriate way to manage or withdraw that consent.
